Resident Services

Resident services include general supervision, a private room, board, housekeeping, personal care, nursing care, activities and transportation.

General Supervision

We will provide assistance by reminding you or the person in your care of mealtimes, invitations to activities, and arranging medical, dental, and other appointments. If needed, we can shop for personal items and assist in obtaining medication within the limits of physican's orders. Our personal care attendants keep all medications locked and dispense them as ordered by the provider.

A Resident Personal account can be set up with HHR to hold and dispense funds for incidentals with written permission. A statement of personal transactions will be sent quarterly or upon request.

We encourage the appointment of a Power of Attorney and can ask the State for a Representative Payee if you or the person in your care is unable to manage on your own.

HHR is not a locked facility and residents are able to come and go as they please. The outside doors are locked at 8 PM and unlocked at 7 AM; residents are asked to ring the bell to be admitted during this time.

Residents are provided with a private room with private bath. All bathrooms are equipped with a walk-in shower with a seat and a hose spray nozzle and showerhead. Each room has its own independent thermostat that can be controlled according to the resident's personal comfort level. Please bring personal possessions as space permits, unless the possessions infringe on the rights of others or create a fire or safety hazard.

Residents are provided with three attractive and satisfying meals in accordance with state regulations and dietary standards and consideration of the resident's dietary and medical needs. The menu is a mixture of New England home-style comfort food that conforms to a Liberalized Geriatric Diet. A limited selection of snacks is available at any time. If needed, we will comply with a physician recommended diet whenever possible.
